Privacy notice

This website, beggarsforsomesoul.com, is run by John Francis Mariano, who performs as Beggars for Some Soul. If you have any question about your information, email john@beggarsforsomesoul.com.

The short version: the website itself doesn’t ask for, store or sell your personal information. It sets no cookies and has no ads or tracking. When you buy something, the payment is handled by Square.

What the website collects

• Visitor statistics. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits: which pages were viewed, the site you came from, your country, and your browser and device type. It doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t identify you, and doesn’t follow you around other websites.
• Technical data needed to deliver the site. The website and its videos are delivered by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to send you the pages and protect the site from abuse. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
• Your light or dark choice. If you switch the site between light and dark, your browser remembers it on your own device. It’s never sent to us.

Buying music videos and merch

Payments go through Square, both for the music videos and in our merch shop. Square collects what it needs to process your order: your name, email address and card details, plus a shipping address for merch.

We receive your name, email address, what you bought and, for merch, your shipping address, so we can deliver your order and answer questions. We never see or store your full card number. Square’s own privacy notice explains how Square handles your information.

Email

If you email us, we use your message and email address only to reply. Mail to john@beggarsforsomesoul.com is forwarded to our inbox through Cloudflare.

Cookies

This website doesn’t set any cookies, which is why there’s no cookie banner. Square’s checkout pages and merch shop are run by Square and may use their own cookies; see Square’s privacy notice.

Links to other sites

Links to Instagram, YouTube and Square take you to their sites, where their own privacy policies apply.

Sharing

We don’t sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the services named above to run the site and fulfill your orders, or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep order details as long as needed to deliver your order and for tax and accounting records, and emails as long as needed to help you.

Your choices

You can ask what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing john@beggarsforsomesoul.com. Depending on where you live, for example California, the EU or the UK, you may have further rights, and we’ll honor them.

Children

This website isn’t aimed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If anything here changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
