Terms of sale & use

These terms cover buying music videos and merch from Beggars for Some Soul (John Francis Mariano) and using this website. Questions: john@beggarsforsomesoul.com.

Music videos

What you get. When you buy a music video, you get a personal license to watch the full video on your private watch page and to download a copy to keep, for your own personal, non-commercial use. You’re welcome to watch it as often as you like, on any of your own devices.

What needs our written permission first. Please don’t:

• re-upload or post the video or its music anywhere online (YouTube, social media and so on);
• share the file, or your private watch-page link, with other people;
• sell, rent or give away copies;
• play it in public, at events or on the radio, or stream it;
• use the music or footage in your own videos, ads or projects.

Who owns it. The songs, recordings and videos remain © John Francis Mariano. All rights reserved. Buying a copy doesn’t transfer any copyright or other rights.

Want to use a song? For films, ads, events, covers or any other use, email us and ask. We’re happy to talk.

Your private watch page. After paying, you’re taken straight to your private page. Bookmark it. If you lose the link, email us with your Square receipt and we’ll send it again.

Refunds. Because you get the video instantly, music video purchases are generally final. If the video won’t play or download, or something else went wrong, email us within 30 days and we’ll fix it or refund you.

Merch

Merch is sold through our Square shop, with prices and shipping shown at checkout. Questions about an order, sizing or returns: email us and we’ll sort it out.

This website

Payments are processed by Square, under Square’s terms. How we handle your information is explained in our privacy notice.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest version. The terms in place when you bought something apply to that purchase.
